Welcome to the online home for Roselle Park's Third Ward!  The Third Ward is a vertical strip in the center of the Borough, bordered roughly by Sumner Avenue to the north, Westfield Avenue to the south, Locust or Larch Street to the west and Chestnut or Walnut Street to the east.  It includes the Chestnut Street downtown area.  Your Councilwoman is Larissa Chen-Hoerning. The next Council meeting will be Thursday, June 4 at 7:30 pm. Following that will be a meeting on Thursday, June 18.

The food pantry at the Casano Center is open each Wednesday from 10-2.  Donations are always welcome!  If you can afford to help a neighbor, please do.

The 2009 Municipal Budget will likely be introduced in June.  It has pretty much been all set for some time now, and we have been operating under its general direction this quarter.  We are awaiting a few numbers for the Capital Budget so that we can introduce the Operating and Capital Budgets at the same time as one Budget. 

The next Planning Board meeting will be June 15 at 7:30pm.
The next Board of Health meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 16 at 5pm.
